Helen qualified as a Mental Health Social Worker in 2010 after studying for her Masters. She has worked with adults with diagnoses of Severe and Enduring Mental Illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia.
She developed a passion for therapy and went on to train as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in 2014.
For the past few years she has worked for the NHS delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to adults with severe to mild mental health problems. Helen is extremely passionate about raising awareness of Mental Health Problems.
She has experience working with clients who have a range of disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, Low Self Esteem, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
She is dedicated to providing evidence based techniques following the guidelines set out by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).
She is Accredited by the BABCP and regularly attends workshops and training to ensure continued skill development and learning.
