Since qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist at the University of Salford, Paul has principally worked in the NHS in musculoskeletal outpatients.

In addition to working at the clinic Paul works as a research physiotherapist, in the Broadgreen based Orthopaedic Department of the Royal Liverpool Hospital, as well as being Physiotherapist to Everton Ladies Football club.

Consequently Paul's main field of interest is in Sports Medicine. Paul developed an active involvement in the treatment and management of sports injuries whilst working in Physical Education (1978 - 2003) and then by completing a Football Association's Diploma in 1993. Paul is highly skilled in this field and is very passionate about his Role at Everton Ladies. 

Paul is additionally a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM).
